The New Asshole
When you get a little older you'll appreciate a nice smile and a girl who works her butt off in the kitchen. She didn't have much of a butt in that magicians assistant outfit...
But I'm ok with it

I appreciate that plenty. When you get a little older you'll appreciate a nice smile and a girl who works her butt off in the kitchen.
THAT's the name I was thinking off as soon as turned episode on... Just finished episode one and didn't like itFun and intriguing first two episodes. Nothing that really blows you away but I enjoyed it. They really nailed the vibes of the different sitcoms. First episode was a late 50s/early 60s type show (Dick Van Dyke) while episode 2 was more mid-60s (Bewitched).
I am a miso-gynacologist and I hate to cook.I appreciate that plenty.
But I'm also not a misogynist who thinks that women belong in the kitchen. I'm just as good in there.
More of the same.THAT's the name I was thinking off as soon as turned episode on... Just finished episode one and didn't like it
Episode 2 better?
I feel it's a good way to work on your attention span lengthening.More of the same.
almost no overall story progression in either episode.
I will stick it out see how it goesMore of the same.

I will as well. I am just very underwhelmed so far.I will stick it out see how it goes

It seems they are targeting the nostalgia to the 65+ year old demo. That’s fine, I just wonder what the population size of the 65+ comic book reading demo is. Doesn’t sound like a smart marketing ploy to me...

They could just be doing this as a set up. Going through the generations, leading up to an "earlier" generation perhaps
The producers said in interviews that each episode progresses through television by a decade. Thus:
- episode 1 was based on I Love Lucy, from the 1950s
- episode 2's inspirations included Bewitched and The Jetsons, both from the 1960s
Episode 3 is going to be based on 1970s television, episode 4 on 1980s television, and so on until we catch up to the present.
I get that. I just can’t believe that they are starting this show with a demo that likely isn’t going to be watching the show anyway, while simultaneously not touching on the overall story until the last 30 seconds or so. Then using that exact template again in episode 2.The producers said in interviews that each episode progresses through television by a decade. Thus:

Downey jr isn't coming backI think it is a lot harder to put together a good TV series as opposed to a movie and judging from the reviews it looks like Marvel whiffed. Honestly I don't think the Falcon and winter soldier series wont be all that great either. The good news for them is that Robert Downey isn't doing all that great in his own projects all that's left is Sherlock Holmes 3 so him and Marvel can look to try and come back and make more Marvel Movies.
