Too much Bahstin & Yanks tawk in heah
Shit! You guys promised that Hu would stay away if we talked about the Red Sox and the Yankees. So much for that theory!
Too much Bahstin & Yanks tawk in heah
Lets talk about my Mets
So, his whole career is a fraud because of a test from 2003? You should have just saved me some time and said you "don't like him".
The only proof ever needed to show David Ortiz was a cheater, is that he went from a guy who couldnt beat out Ron Coomer for a job, to the most feared hitter on the planet, in about 15 minutes
though neither will admit to it....they love each other, and are overly obsessed by one another...
same goes for dodgers/giants..and cubs/cards
This isn't even true. His last year in MIN, he hit 20HR's with 75RBI's and hit .272 with a 120 OPS+ in only 125 games(he hit 18HR's in 89 games the previous year). It was obvious the guy had power. The Twins just fucked up the evaluation. Then everyone else fucked up by not signing him. He was 27 when he went to the Red Sox. Right at the start of a typical statistical peak.
Matt Harvey/Boras are pissing away their chances. Not happy.
Two teams that are both better than the Mets are playing each other tonight in a one game elimination.
And all guys get better in their late 30's when not doing roids.
That shit just never gets old to me. It's like when Mrs. Redfoot and my mom debate about which of them is higher maintenance. They're both so high maintenance that it really doesn't matter which is more so. It just fucking cracks me up.
So, come on, Yanks and Sox fans, which team is more homegrown?
Except there was no suspension after a first positive under the old system so it wouldn't have been too difficult to keep it on the hush. This quote proves absolutely nothing other than a writer can speculate about something Ortiz said. Because I don't think MLB would silently have Ortiz in a drug program without announcing it.
This is Dirt's dopey trolling. Ron Coomer wasn't on the Twins in 2003, 2002, or 2001.
At least be accurate!! He got better at age 27 and has played at a high level since. He's had some ups and downs, though. He's been written off a few times along the way. When did he "get better" in his late 30's?
Actually, I do like him. Quite a bit, really. I just think he does steroids. Pretty much everyone outside of Boston does.
Except there was no suspension after a first positive under the old system so it wouldn't have been too difficult to keep it on the hush.
Now that you mentioned it...did Boras post the line up for game one yet?
You probably believe that Richard Gere puts gerbils in his ass, too.
He's had 35 and 37 HR's in 2014 and 2015, the most since 35 in the 2007 season.
Might be the 2 best teams in the league with the Cards injuries.
