I have a similar story, but it involves slow pitch softball, a David Eckstein jersey, a blooper juuuust out of reach of the 2nd baseman's glove, and then subsequently going 1st to 3rd on a routine single...

Difference is in your story you imitated Eck perfectly...had Ox? he'd have struck out, gone a shot up a ton of steroids, come back....and struck out again....then later he'd go play in an over 40 league, and struck out again...
