I think Von is out of his damn mind. Spending that much money on a non-QB is borderline insane.

Miller is right up there but JJ Watt is the best defender in the business and he did sign a renewal for basically 8 years (official was 6, but it extended his current one).

Yesterday Von said there was no way he'll sit out the season. Today he says there's no way he'll play on the franchise tag.

Call me an optimist, but to me it sounds like he's saying they'll get a deal done before the deadline.

You're an optimist. There, do I get a prize?

In before Pats fans call Tom Brady "the consummate professional and ultimate team player."

There is no way that Cox and Vernon(NYG) should get more guarantee money than Miller.

Too many guys are getting it now to call it insane, but I feel ya.

VM is right for asking that much...but I'm not sure why he wouldn't play under the tag though...Lloyds of London dude!

You can live pretty comfortable off one of those policies if your career is cut short.

Sounds like someone got lit up by his agent/NFLPA after his comments on Handler yesterday.

Especially considering Broncos writers received an e-mail from his PR firm making sure they read "Von's" post.

The FT bullshit should have been eliminated a long time ago ,IMO. Von Miller should get what he is worth or be allowed to seek employment elsewhere. The Broncos didn't win the SB on offense.

Broncos would be wise to get a deal done, Miller is a guy they don't want to go into the season without... Not saying they should grossly overpay, but they should meet him somewhere with the guaranteed $ ... That's what's holding things up I assume...

He wants 70+mil guaranteed over the first 3 yrs....Probably because he is 5 yrs in and been injured several times and suspended 6 games, so he don't want to take the chance because either are probable going forward and he'll still get paid....I don't think Elway will be bullied into over paying.....

Someone will pay him. Just a matter of how much Denver wants to chance tagging him. Two years worth? The way this is sounding VM won't be a very happy camper.
