Yesterday Von said there was no way he'll sit out the season. Today he says there's no way he'll play on the franchise tag.
Call me an optimist, but to me it sounds like he's saying they'll get a deal done before the deadline.
I think Von is out of his damn mind. Spending that much money on a non-QB is borderline insane.
Miller is right up there but JJ Watt is the best defender in the business and he did sign a renewal for basically 8 years (official was 6, but it extended his current one).

Beats people obsessing about Justin Houston's knee in my book.Do we really need another Von Miller thread?

Broncos would be wise to get a deal done, Miller is a guy they don't want to go into the season without... Not saying they should grossly overpay, but they should meet him somewhere with the guaranteed $ ... That's what's holding things up I assume...
Someone will pay him. Just a matter of how much Denver wants to chance tagging him. Two years worth? The way this is sounding VM won't be a very happy camper. He wants 70+mil guaranteed over the first 3 yrs....Probably because he is 5 yrs in and been injured several times and suspended 6 games, so he don't want to take the chance because either are probable going forward and he'll still get paid....I don't think Elway will be bullied into over paying.....
