Virginia Tech will lose some games this season......that is a fact.

They will handle their next 2 opponents in Austin Peay and Pitt just fine, but they will be in a tussle in every match from there on out in my opinion.....

Bowling Green, Cincinnati, North Carolina, Duke, Clemson, Miami, Florida State, Boston College...........

Yes, every single one of those games could be a potential loss.

If you mean that none of these are patsies, thank you for complimenting our scheduling. But seriously... we should roll several of those teams easily, and there are no certain losses there.

The outside run didn't work too well, but up the middle they were killing it. Maybe because the option had them spread out & trying to stay at home.

That is supposed to be the best OL GT has had in years, and we held them to <200 yds rushing which is pretty awesome for a team that gets almost all its yardage on the ground. We stuffed run after run. They got a few through, mostly after Maddy (starting DT) got banged up, but for the most part we shut them down pretty well. That's probably the best defensive performance you'll see against GT all year. If they looked slow, credit the speed of the D.

What I thought was amazing is how Va Tech had fireworks prepared for an Overtime forcing field goal at the end of regulation........

It was almost as if they planned it out before the game started..........."hey, we need to get some HUGE fireworks for when the time comes that we have a chance to force Overtime."

Meh. I respect VT. They've got talent on defense. I really don't doubt their D is good.

Toooo early. If we go to tOSU and hand them their lunch then I would be confident we would waste VT. Why? Because tOSU's defense is superior to VT's.
