Well I doubt the NYG connection will have any effect, but you never know. Stephone Anthony said he liked Clemson's defense because Kevin Steele said they ran the same as Anthony's favorite professional team, the Packers. However, Clemson ran a 4-3 and the Packers were a 3-4 team.

Hand is visiting us and Alabama for summer camps, so we should know a little bit more about our chances this summer although it is still very early for him. Getting him on campus for a second time in 2-3 months is a positive.

Yeah, that's my operational theory. "Makes sense" and "makes sense to a 16 year old" are completely different things. We've lost guys for less.

One thing I've noticed with recruits is that there are usually inconsistencies with the reasons they give for choosing a school over another. You don't get the whole truth usually

Brown is a monster, and so is Dashawn Hand. Together, they could dominate in a way even Bud's defenses haven't done in the past.
