Don't forget that we play Maryland in 2013 and 2014. I'd personally prefer not to have to play a Terp team with Diggs on it.

Those were a long time ago. Johnson tore us up with the new defensive scheme but Fitz beat up one of our worst defenses when Rutherford has zero pressure, and Warrick just outclassed us that year.

Diggs is announcing at Looney's which is right outside of UMD. Its where UMD coaches do their coach talk shows, kinda like we do with Bull and Bones.

I would rather have seen Diggs come to VT, but it has seemed fairly clear that if he stayed in the local area it would be UMD. He's done a nice job of yanking Ohio State and Florida's chains, however. He seems to be enjoying the attention, and has played this for all its worth.

^^^Uh huh..I will give it 5 years (if he last that long). Has anyone heard or seen the terms of his contract?? Pretty over the top if you ask me. H .Dinich did a nice recap of it (about a month ago)and blasts it pretty good. Almost $50,000 in incentives for final recruiting rankings by Rivals or Scouts?? Maybe I am naive, but this can't be the norm???
