I think that a link is fine because ti takes you to the article. We are all just being a little over-safe right now.
Hopefully Scout.com is correct in their assumption.
I don't think they are.
On another note, damn that poll is difficult!!
What is the Hokies best previous recruiting class?
* 2001: Kevin Jones, Bryan Randall, DeAngelo Hall
* 2003: Vince Hall, Xavier Adibi, Chris Ellis
* 2004: Eddie Royal, Josh Morgan, Branden Ore
* 2007: Tyrod, Danny Coale, Darren Evans, Blake DeChristopher
* 2008: Ryan Williams, Jarrett Boykin, Marcus Davis, Dyrell Roberts
* 2009: Logan Thomas, David Wilson, Jayron Hosley, D.J. Coles, Exum
* 2012 Already the best
Honest question because I really don't know the answer...is a link to the source article not good enough for citing purposes or do we also have to note the author as you suggested?
I agree with the write-ups on about 5 of these prospects honestly.
IMO
-Clarke will not be a Whip.
-Vandyke will not be a DB.
-Motley is plenty versatile to play a lot of positions at Tech. He was not just offered to keep him away from GT. We do not do that.
-Jackson will catch balls.
-We were interested in Baron well before the camps.
-Smith lacked offers because he was going to Tech.
-Irick was not an "insurance policy" as those offers do not go out that early.
Just my thoughts though....

I agree on all but Jackson, only because I haven't seen his tape. It's nice seeing all the guys together via gobblercountry, but I didn't think much of it. He talked about how JC is already enrolled, but was hoping that we hang on to Donaldven. Really?
Dakota Jackson Highlights
This video comes from VaPreps originally, and they have him projected as an LB, but in this video, Jackson plays as a DE and TE. Watch what he does after he catches the ball. He is #44 in green.
The Rivals FREE side has him listed as 6'4", 250 lbs:
Dakota Jackson - FREE Rivals Profile
Dang, can't get on youtube at work, I'll watch later.
How does he stack up compared to our other TEs? Dunn seems like a guy who will only play in a few sets, Martin will block, and I don't know much about Redman and Malleck (aside from he mostly played special teams this year)
What does anyone make of Seth Dooley ?? DE or TE ?? Seems he's gonna need to eat some more meat and taters.
Ill take Seth over Dakota all day. On both sides of the ball.
