Sounds like recruiting is going well. Just saw Coleman's highlights and I really liked what I saw. Looks like a mix between Imoh and Lewis as 46 and poop were mentioning.

VT commits with UVA offers: 4 (Coleman, Frye, Greene, Tookes)
VT commits with UNC offers: 1 (Manning)
VT commits with Maryland offers: 3 (Coleman, Frye, Tookes)
UVA commits with VT offers: 0
UNC commits with VT offers: 0
Maryland commits with VT offers: 1 (Madaras)

I will try and keep this updated. These were our three biggest recruiting rivals, in my opinion. If you want me to add anyone let me know. I may add it to the OP.

I would say WVU, but now that Beaty's gone, they aren't a "threat" to us in the 757. Hell I'm not sure they ever were, even though alot of VT fans were scared of him.

True, although I've noticed a huge rise in Vanderbilt offers to Virginia kids this year.

yeah i think as of this weekend its safe to say that manning is ALL VT.

Hey guys, been reading the forum for a couple weeks, decided to join in and contribute a little bit.

Not only is Manning solid on VT, but he has become a major recruiter for VT. Great to see a major out of state recruit trying to get other kids to hop on the boat.

I heard he was in a few players ears this weekend, hopefully he can help out bring in a few big names (heard about him trying to get some big fish in )

Welcome new people! Go Hokies! Yes, mannin is not taking visits anywhere else and plans on enrolling next spring. That is cool because he will have a shot at early field time as I assume Hosley is done after this season.

I forgot Manning is going to try and come in for Spring practices...Him and JC Coleman are looking to enroll early, looks like we have the potential (if that works out) to over sign a little bit

I feel pretty confident with him. His recruitment reminds me of Marshall last year. He will play the game but be a Hokie by the end of summer.

just to add a little here:

so far we have 8 commits from our target board
the rest of the country has 7 commits from our target board
Pretty good imo, especially considering the # of OOS offer/commits.

just cruising around rivals and noticed they had given out their 5 star rankings. I don't know if they're giving anymore out (there were only 12 guys with that distinction), but a bunch of our targets are on there:

Eddie Goldman (OL), Maryland
Noah Spence (DE), Pennsylvania
Darius Hamilton (DE), New Jersey
DJ Humphries (OL), North Carolina
Stefon Diggs (WR), Maryland

No chance on Goldman and Humphries, an outside chance on Spence, a decent chance at Diggs, and a very good chance for Hamilton.
