I will add though he did just turn down making somewhere between $8 million to $11.6 million depending if you go by his base salary or actual Cap Hit so not sure he is going to go play somewhere for $2-3 million. Would be nice.

He asked for release because they asked him to restructure and he didn't like the terms. He didn't just walk away from the money.

Whatever the market dictates is what he's going to end up signing for. But for a 350 lber, he'll be closer to the 2-3 than to 8-11.

You have to remember these guys all have a bit of an ego. Look at Jared Allen as a perfect example...He is willing to walk away from millions of dollars because he hasn't been offered a deal that he feels is worthy of his time. Right now he thinks he is worth what the Broncos just gave DeMarcus Ware and said he won't settle for less. Now I guess we shall see if he holds to that but this is the attitude a lot of these guys have.

Now I agree he doesn't deserve the $8-11 million but I also don't see him settling for $2-3 million either. He might decide his health is worth more than that at this point in his career.

On occasion you do get guy's that will sign for less… Some guy's do put the money ego aside to play … But it's a small percentage…
