Kirk isn't getting traded, but i wouldn't be opposed to trading hunter since we're sucking it up. It's unlikely we're going to resign him this offseason, I'd think you could 2nd rounder for him

Just like that, we're right back on schedule for another classic year of Vikings football where they are never good enough to actually do anything, but they will win enough completely forgetable games to screw up their draft position.

I can honestly say I pretty much gave up any real sort of hope with this team. It's never "their year", and it seems like it never will be. Makes it tough to get excited for it.

I got nothing against Mattison, but I don't think anyone realistically expected anything less than a significant drop off in rushing production when Cook got the boot.

I've said it time and time again now, this team isn't even worth watching this year. Kwesi and OKC are reminding me a lot of the Spielman and Zimmer days. Constantly messing up their drafts with a lot of weird/bad picks/bad drafting strategy, and the same type of nonsense we've seen on the field for years. Still refusing to address the offensive line that has been an issue since 2010.

As good as the Wilfs have been for keeping this team in Minnesots, I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to question them as well. They took this team over in like 2005, ran Mike Tice out of town after 1 year (rightfully so), and are now on their 4th head coach (and probably their 15th or so offensive and defensive coordinators in that same timeframe) that they hand-picked themselves with the crews they wanted running the show. At some point, you gotta notice a common denominator in it all...

Yep.

There was a time when I was a pretty huge football fan. I'd follow along and keep up with the seasons decently, would know of most of the current Vikings rosters, would watch division games/other big games without the Vikings necessarily in them.

Now, I just don't care about it almost at all. 30+ years of the same crap over and over again gets old. Honestly, it's felt like they've been spinning their tires since around 2014 to me. Doesn't matter who the coaches are, who the QB is, who upper management is, one way or the other they always deliever the same crappy results.

Last year was pretty much the same as this year except more entertaining because most of the lucky bounces/etc. were going their way. Now they are being promptly expoded as a crappy team now that they haven't been so incredibly lucky. This team is just plain boring to watch, especially without Justin Jefferson in the lineup.
