In my opinion, the Vikes should deal anyone that they can get some high draft picks for, that includes Cousin, Jefferson, Hunter, TJ..whoever...and they need a new GM and I'm not sold on the HC. Last two drafts sucked.

This team needs to rebuild from the ground up and it starts in the trenches.

Everyone knew the teams OL sucked, and they didn't address it in the preseason. Instead they added more offensive weapons...big fucking deal. That's like taking an old rusty car with shitty tires, suspension and transmission and putting a 500+HP engine in it.

It's a waste. Cousins is not exactly nimble, and if you protect him his golden arm is pretty much worthless.

And it looks like all the favorable bounces we got last year are going the other way now. Gonna be a long-ass season.

In theory, Cousins said, he could have decided to spike the ball on his own. But he said he tries "not to make a habit of" making such unilateral decisions during games.

"I mean I could do anything I want," Cousins said. "I can do the quarterback sneak. I can do whatever I want, but at the same time you also have to deal with the consequences. Against Buffalo last year I snuck it on my own and didn't get in, so until you know the future it's hard to know whether to take the reins or not, but I've done it before."

During the Eagles game, we were getting run at the whole game. And he refused to change what he was doing to try and stop it.
During the Chargers game, we were getting carved up when we blitzed Herbert. And he refused to change what he was doing and try and stop it.
Just ridiculous to come in with a game plan.....have obvious evidence that it is not working at all and not see them try and adjust their strategy.

I think there is still large talent deficit and I'm going to give him time

It took him a bit to turn around Miami's defense too

But the inability to cover Keenan Allen and/or get home at blitz and repeating same failed tactic was frustrating

Brother and sister in law had a pic taken with Peyton Manning yesterday. He coaches his son in the same league their grandson plays in in Denver.
