nice to have better back up than sean manion
Pretty easy paycheck for that guy. Only practices when he's not at risk to actually play in a game.

Yep, and then it turned out it wouldn't have even mattered. Go figure.

Like I've been saying for awhile now, this team's problem is their refusal to do a true rebuild. They need to tear it down to the dirt with only maybe 5 - 10 guys tops who absolutely need to be kept for a rebuild.

They're not gonna do that, though. They've already messed up next year by messing up the draft with too many wins in a season that won't matter. So, they'll end up being okay again, good enough to not be the joke of the league, but good enough to keep the cycle of mediocrity going. Their insistance on the soft rebuild style has prevented true dumpster fire seasons, but it has also kept them from getting above the middle.

I'm not a huge fan of tanking, tanking doesn't guarantee anything outside of a better draft pick

killed us, and we missed out on a few chances

First TO should've been negated with a flag that safety will get fined for, but I don't take much solace in that

Yup. Three of them killed them, just like the beginning of the year.
Vikes should take the name of the old SNL cast...

Announcers hyping the Vikes chances for the playoffs last night.

The Vikings are almost definitely going to make the playoffs given the schedule. We lost the division last night, but the NFC as a whole is so mediocre that 9 wins gets you in.

They don't need to tank on purpose, but they don't need to fight tooth and nail to crawl to 8 - 10 wins in a season where they clearly have no chance.

My main problem with it is even if they did get a good draft pick, as Hippie said, they'd probably ruin it by wasting it on another CB that doesn't pan out or something.

They have always been aversive to it no matter who is running things, this team needs to draft a QB. That's probably never gonna happen if we keep churning out middling seasons with guys who clearly aren't the future of the team.

I feel like the plan is to get a young QB, they'll have to eventually, Cousins is 36

Dobbs is a neat story, but I don't think he's a long term option

It was a clean hit that Jackson led with his shoulder on. Not his fault Dobbs was being tackled and lowered his helmet causing it to hit Jackson’s.

Let's see

Leading with shoulder? Nope
Dobbs head lowered? Also nope.

Wow why don’t you show the other angle that actually shows what happened instead of a backside view where you can’t see anything

Dude is dirty and so is your coach. In today's NFL that's a penalty, ill be shocked if he isn't fined and given his track record maybe suspended.

In-game official called it a penalty using that footage, I believe.

Apparently the other angles were insufficient for on field officials to make the call.
