Dude, give me a break. The Kirk Cousins hate just doesn't make any sense at this point. Granted you said this while they were still down and getting beaten badly, but you look like a total fool still bagging on Cousins so hard. The dude ended up with 29/35 passing, 319 yards, 3 TD's, and 0 INT's, 0 fumbles in a comeback win from being down 20-0 at the half.

But somehow, you decided in your own mind to overlook the horrendous play calling and defensive play through the first half, thinking we should bench our mega contract QB for a known bum backup? Give me a break, man.

Cousins is sitting at 21 TD's/3 INT's on the season with 5 games to go. That's with missing Thielen for nearly half of the season so far (4 1/2 games). He's not the reason for their struggles this season. The real issues are the overrated defense and the terrible play calling. Every time they've taken the leash off Cousins and told him to go win a game through the air, he has delivered for the most part as long as the defense wasn't total crap. The guy damn near beat the Rams on prime time in L.A. last season in a shootout where our defense crapped the bed hard. Yeah he's had some bad games.

However, you're a lunatic if you think we'd have been better off with someone like Bridgewater or Keenum instead. Yes I still view Bridgewater as overrated. He fell into basically the best situation he could have in New Orleans and has made the most of it with his dink and dunk Charlie checkdown style of play. We'd be 4-7 this year all else being equal if he was our QB.

Daunte Culfumbler is one of the most overrated players in the history of the team. He only ever had 3 good seasons where he lit it up big time, and was horrendous without Moss except for a few games in his best year ever of 2004. Remember how awful he was in the 7 games he played in during his final season with the team before his knee injury that always gets blamed for why he sucked for the rest of his career? Dude had 6 TD's/12 INT's/5 fumbles during the 7 games he played in that year after the Moss trade.

Culfumbler's career stats were 149 TD's, 106 INT's, 34 rushing TD's, and 102 fumbles. That's 183 total TD's to 208 fumbles. There is no logical way to consider a guy with 25 more career turnovers than scores to have been a high quality player just because he had a few good years sprinkled in a mountain of garbage seasons. If Cousins retired tomorrow, he'd have Culfumbler beaten by a differential of 68 in the same TD/turnover stats.
