Looks like Rudolph and Smith will have to pass the concussion tests before they can play again. Let's hope they're very mild ones. Sure would suck to lose them for any amount of time, but especially next week.

Hope to see them back and ready to go. Would be a big blow to lose them.

That last game was a hard one to swallow. But all in all this season has gone better than I originally expected it to go. If they can just end the season at .500 it will be a win.

For sure PC,
I predicted 6-2 by midseason, then finishing 8-8. But they do have a good chance at 9-7 if they can at least play tough for the home games. They're rolling in the right direction though, that's a good sign.

Percy Harvin practiced a bit yesterday, Rudolph and Harrison Smith both cleared concussion tests, so there's some good news for the Vikes.

Clay Mathews looks to be out for the game, every little bit helps..lol

Yeah, sounds like Percy did the walk throughs and left.
Was trying to see if he did more today but couldn't find any info. Having him in there would be a big boost. Especially if he would be returning kick-offs.

Found an article on Yardbarker, so we have to take it with a grain of salt. Said Harvin was still limping today, he's doubtful for the Pack game. But again, it's Yardbarker.
We'll have to see a more credible report sometime before Sunday.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings are taking no chances with injured star receiver Percy Harvin.

Harvin returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since spraining his ankle in three places on Nov. 4. Harvin was in uniform again for Thursday's practice, but he was without a helmet and didn't participate. He stayed with the receivers group but didn't run.

Minnesota coach Leslie Frazier said it seemed Harvin responded well to the work he did on Wednesday, but the team backed off him a day later.

"The treatment and how he feels after we get done today will give a better indication of what we can get out of him tomorrow and if we have a chance for Sunday," Frazier said. "Hopefully he can do more tomorrow. I'm hoping, but we'll see."

Well this sucks, but I'd rather have him healthy for the home games. Hate to see him come back too early, and go down for the season.

Then I guess that leaves Ponder with Rudy and Smith. And maybe that Simpson dude will even catch one.

The rest will be up to AP and the D.

Yeah, it's too bad about Greg Childs. At 6'3" he could have been that big guy.
Sure hope he makes it back to the NFL..Hopefully he's a quick healer like AP.

Man, it's getting harder and harder to be patient while Ponder learns.
IMO, after the 3rd quarter when it was obvious the Vikes weren't moving the chains and there was still enough time in the game, coach should have changed QB's just to see if that would have sparked the offense. The season was pretty much on the line with that game, and it was still winnable at that point. The coach should have made the change just to get that spark. That doesn't mean that Ponder can't start next week, just that they needed a kick in the ass to get a win at that particular time in the game. Maybe I'm just more pissed than usual because it was the Pack, and it would have made things real tight in the North...

For sure PC,
The team wouldn't get far in the playoffs, but it would be nice to get there. I know Ponder is the best option at QB, but all they needed was a little boost, maybe Webb could have come in and just did enough. 2 red zone int's really hurt.
