Ponder was getting knocked around . The offense couldn't get a first down.
Defense could not get the Bucs off the field on 3rd and long, or when they did do their job, the offense would go 3 and out putting the defense right back on the field.

I thought after Jared got fired up in the 3rd quarter that the Vikes were going to make a game of it, but after AP's fumble they pretty much shut down. That 9 minute td drive in the 4th quarter by the Bucs ended any hope.

Not fun to watch..

Ponder had some good throws but also some ugly ones. Maybe still needs some fine tuning? The quick three and outs were brutal.

Jared Allen went crazy after that little scrap. That had the potential to completely change the momentum of the game but unfortunately it was quickly deflated. So is the life of a Vikes fan.

Yeah PC,
I can't blame Ponder for the loss completely, AP and Simpson fumbled and the defense was terrible. Seemed like whenever they started to gain momentum it was quickly distinguished because of one thing or another.
I'm also starting to believe Simpson is not the downfield threat that he thinks he is..
I still think Ponder can get where he needs to be, but he didn't get the luxury of developing for a season like they planned, so he gets rattled easily on
blitz's yet.

Possibly..Teams now know that Ponder will fold when they bring the heat.
You'd think the Vikes coaching staff would take the 10 days until the next game and just drill hot reads into his head.
He had WR's open and he was just too panicked to look off his first receiver.

I'm not a big fan of the Thursday night football thing. I think they should get rid of it.

Top 5 defense, but it seems their offense isn't anything to write home about.
Could be a low scoring affair. Hopefully not just on our side..lol
