Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder had a little rookie hazing prank up his sleeve on Thursday.

Ponder tweeted the photo you see above and said he found the items in teammate Matt Kalil’s locker. He added, “I hope you’re okay bud.”

Preparation H and Tucks are medications used to treat hemorrhoids.

Kalil, a rookie offensive tackle who was drafted fourth overall in April, wrote back “nice setup lol.”

At least he took it well. A word to the wise, Ponder: You don’t want to get on the bad side of a guy who protects you during games, much less one who is 6’6″ and 300+ pounds.

Thursday night fooseball for the Vikes tonight. Is this the first one? I don't remember one ever but that don't mean it didn't happen!

I like when they have a Monday night game better but it does not look like that's happening this year.

Morning PC,
I think the first game last season was a Thursday night game. And yeah, this is the only national game this season.

Bucs "D" has done pretty well against the run, I think Ponder will need to do better than 58 yards passing tonight..lol
Hopefully the Dome will be rocking tonight.

I am sure the Dome will be rocking as usuall and Ponder can't do worse than 58 yards right? Lets hope so. AP seems to be getting back to full strength so hopefully we will start to see some more of his freakish signature runs soon.

"Even with a sore ankle, Peterson had a field day last week with a season-best 153 rushing yards. Don't be scared of a short week or Tampa Bay's third-ranked rush defense. Instead, look at what Peterson did to the Bucs in their matchup last season: 120 rushing yards, 21 receiving yards, 2 TDs."

What the heck happened?

Guess the Bucs are to you what the Colts are to GB
[kind of embarrassing, but the season's far from over]

Ponder was getting knocked around . The offense couldn't get a first down.
Defense could not get the Bucs off the field on 3rd and long, or when they did do their job, the offense would go 3 and out putting the defense right back on the field.

I thought after Jared got fired up in the 3rd quarter that the Vikes were going to make a game of it, but after AP's fumble they pretty much shut down. That 9 minute td drive in the 4th quarter by the Bucs ended any hope.

Not fun to watch..
