I see CC en moss we're taking jabs at each other.

Yeah, I think it was all in fun though. Carter pretty much said you have to take the good with the bad with Moss.
But Moss said Carter should be in the HOF..Who knows?

I think he would be recovering quicker from it, but he has a bad cough too. So he's real weak and has troubles catching his breath. I couldn't imagine trying to cough after having your chest ripped open.

Tribe proposes that casino should fund Vikings stadium
Friday, February 17, 2012
By The Associated Press

Northwestern Minnesota's White Earth Tribe wants to open a Twin Cities-area casino that its chairwoman said would help a poverty-stricken tribe and be a source of state money for a new Minnesota Vikings stadium.

White Earth chairwoman Erma Vizenor said that the 20,000-member tribe has desperate needs in health care, education and housing that could be addressed if lawmakers let them open a casino in the much more populated Twin Cities area.

Vizenor said an estimate prepared for the tribe a few years ago said such a casino would clear $300 million in profit a year, which Vizenor said could be split 50-50 between the tribe and the state. She said that would let state lawmakers avoid any new stadium taxes.

The only problem is they don't have the population where their reservation is so they want the casino in the metro area, then they would split the revenue 50% with the Vikings, or state, or whoever. Sounds like a good deal, but I'm sure they're too late to the party just like Shakopee was.

Even though the Minnesota Vikings drafted Christian Ponder in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft, general manager Rick Spielman has said that they won’t pass up either Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III if either quarterback falls to them.

Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman appeared on the NFL Network’s set during Wednesday’s Senior Bowl practice in Mobile Alabama. He made it clear that they’re open to trade the third overall pick in this years draft.

“It will be, I think, very busy on draft day,” Spielman said. “We’re the third overall pick, so we’ll be looking at all the options. If someone wants to come up and get our pick, we’re going to be more than willing to listen.”

I heard a quote last thursday from Spielman where he said something to that effect. He didn't come out and say they would take a QB at that time, just that they wouldn't rule out taking one.
Just a ploy to get teams nervous and want to trade up?? Me thinks so..
But if teams were going to trade up, they would need to get to the 2nd pick, not the 3rd.
