If true, it's just incredibly asinine. Something like this could easily be a one-year suspension, and very likely more. Interested to see what happens.

How the hell does that have such a low bond and such petty charges? Thats crazy.

I noticed the low bond, but overlooked the fact that he's only charged with misdemeanors. That's ridiculous. Pointing a gun at someone and then firing it in their immediate vicinity should not be a misdemeanor.

In California he'd be charged with 422PC (criminal/terrorist threats), 245PC (Assault with a deadly weapon), and 417PC (brandishing a weapon). The first two are felonies, the second a misdemeanor. He's lucky...

The "victim" probably had something to do with McClain getting shot at in January.
The "victim" should thank his lucky stars that McClain and his friend just beat him up a little and scared him with a warning shot. There are alot of people that would've hired some "real hitters" to finish him off.
I'm sure the"victim" knows what he did and is very thankful that he's still breathing.

Regardless, McClain's an idiot for getting involved with stupid incidents like this. He has too much to lose.

I thought it strange that it was only a misdemeanor charge as well. For what its worth, however, he does deny that it happened.

Firing a gun in public (obviously except in self defense) should be a felony; and I'm the biggest 2nd ammendment supporter you'll find. If you're firing a weapon you better damn well know exactly what you intend to hit and have a good reason to be doing so: especially in public!

If he was walking around with a pistol then it was his fault. He's not a gangster he's a football player.

True. There are VERY few people in the state of California with open cary permits; and McCliain is not one of them.
