Look at Julian's playoff stats compared to Julio's.
How many post season yards, catches, TD's does Julio have?

How many rings?

Best QB? Sure. But having the better WR didn't bring home a trophy for Atlanta without the best QB and we don't have the best QB anymore either.


How about Brandin Cooks vs Julian?
Or Terrell Owens Vs Dieon Branch?
Or...

Put Julio on the Patriots and he is putting up Moss like numbers for 13 years. Put Julian as the Falcons number 1 and they aren’t even a .500 team.

Comparing anyone to Julio is like comparing QBs to Peyton Manning. Sure Tom Brady survives that comparison well, but almost nobody else does. Julian's career accomplishments look pretty good sitting on his mantle. I know how the thread started and I know this is just responding to that but the premise was just hyperbole (or should have been).

Julian was a perfect WR for TB12. Julio would have been nice but could never have taken the hits and continued playing the way the Edelman did. Julio was frail and spent the end of many games in the boo boo tent.

Julio was a deep WR and never was a 7 yrds and cross the middle kind of guy.

Julio could also go deep, but he had problems stretuhingandcatching.

So… he was great over the middle. What are the Patriots currently needing at WR? That’s right… someone who can stretch the field. Take the top off. A player just like Julio.

Yawn…. Jules couldn’t hold Julio’s jock. I guarantee you 32 out of 32 teams would choose Julio over Jules in their prime. Lucky for Jules he played for the Patriots and the best QB ever. Put him on the Bears and he’s Braxton Berrios. Julio would be Hall of Famer anywhere he went.

There’s a reason Julio was making 22 million a year and Jules 6 million.

Jones was a prototypical 1st round receiver coming out of college and Jules was a 6th round QB that couldn't play QB but was tenacious in his desire to win.

And that's what made Jules a great player.

Nobody would have drafted Jules to be a WR anywhere near Julio.
But he made shit happen like nobody else.
