If someone faster than Buss was at 2nd we might have had a shot. Oh well, our lineup is worse now than it was back in May. We have to get our injured guys healed up ASAP, we can't go into the playoffs limping.

Neither Volquez or Buss are guys the Dodgers will be counting on for the playoffs. The only value Volquez brings to the team right now is giving the regular SP's a little rest.

Biggest concern Dodgers have right now is the health of their core players and guys like Belisario, League, Marmol and Capuano in the BP. The SP needs to be top grade for this team to advance in the playoffs.

Paco has been shaky lately, I think his arms a little tired, would be nice to clinch it so we can rest the arms...

Honestly, the Dodgers only need to win 2 of the next 4 games to clinch the NL West, there isn't much urgency and the SFG/LAD series didn't really matter. What matters right now is everyone being healthy and ready for the playoffs. That means Kemp coming back to the lineup this week, and getting Ethier and Crawford feeling good.

I agree mostly everyone by this time of the season is pretty tired & banged up especially after making the run the Dodgers had over the last 3 months & all the pressure they had prior to June 22 was horrible!

I think at this point it really doesn't matter if we get the best record in NL i mean ofcourse i want homefield through out the playoffs but it's not worth it if are guys get injured seriously because they're playing meaningless games. Besides i think the Dodgers are far better on the road anyways they welcome the challenge lets just wrap up the division & go from their

I agree completely. HFA isn't that big of a deal. Remember, Dodgers have been the best road team in MLB this season.
