Also, did you not watch the last start that Volquez made? I'm not trying to say that he's worth much as a pitcher, but he looked way better the other day. I was actually kind of impressed. I wouldn't mind it for a second if the Dodgers signed him to a minor-league contract this winter.

With the way Sabathia has pitched this season, perhaps so. CC is not the pitcher of old.

Any way, every player should wear the uniform correctly; Volquez included.

I agree, as the players are representing their team and the traditions of baseball. They are professionals and should look like it. I'll probably be ridiculed for this, but another player that should clean up his attire is Hanley. He wears his jersey unbuttoned nearly to his belly button. I don't think he's so muscle bound that this is necessary. If so, he should get a larger uniform. It simply looks sloppy and unprofessional. This is a baseball team, not a hip hop group.

It's true that Hanley wears it baggy but it's pretty clear that Manny is his idol, he also wears his batting helmet like Manny. We might as well start lining people up for haircuts like the Yankees if that's the case, and that's not very fair to me and not the atmosphere I think we're trying to present. LA is known for being laid back and as long as they produce, I don't care how they wear their uniforms.

I hope we can put up some runs but it will be tuff with Bumgarner on the mound & i'm pretty sure Don will have Hanley out of the line up today!

Could be another tight game with Kershaw on the mound
