Marquette just hired Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski as head coach.

So if any of their signees want out, they'll be able to make a move soon...

Updated blog: Lang, Craft, Buzz and Bibbs interviews - Roanoke Times: Courtside

According to Lang, Buzz didn't talk to him much so he decommitted.

According to Craft, Buzz didn't answer his email so he decommitted.

According to Bibbs, Buzz already visited him and the talk/text every day.

Buzz says: “We definitely need to add some pieces to the puzzle, but only if they’re the right pieces,” Williams said. “It’s important that we make sure that what we add fits what we need but more importantly fits who we are."

Little disappointed that Lang left but honestly, out of the three recruits we had, he's the one I'd be willingly to part with. This is based solely on random youtube clips and stat lines but still. Plus, the buzz around Buzz seems to be he's really been hitting the recruiting trail hard over the last 2 weeks so I'm confident he'll land some players.

Bibbs had a good game today. His team faces Oak Hill tomorrow in the finals.

Bibbs had another very good game to help his team beat Oak Hill. Hope he sticks.

I like what I've seen out of Bibbs. He's long and lanky so he should be able to play 2-guard and some small forward if/when he bulks up a bit. He's also pretty athletic and shown some high IQ plays to get his teammates involved. From what I've seen, he's likely going to be a very versatile player that can give us a little bit of everything.

Any idea if UF, Gonzaga or K-State were in play when he originally committed to Marquette. Have to believe Florida would be the school in our way here.
