Well, it was exciting for a few weeks when we unexpectedly fired our coach and lost our best two recruits, but it has calmed quite a bit since then. Maybe it will be more exciting in season, because we really have no idea how well the new coaching staff is going to do. It's going to be a big unknown, but we sure got stung by losing a couple of premium players.

Not too worried about losing those guys. As I said before, we still come out ahead because Seth would have lost us more games than those guys would have won us

I know it's early, but I'm a bit concerned at how many guards we're currently looking at/offering already. I've really heard no information about us offering or being in contention for legitimate big men. I'm hoping this turns around pretty quickly.

Favorable ACC schedule....a good chance for this team to get a jump early in the conference standings. But finishing the last 8 games better than 2-6 will be a challenge.

Yep - that latter part of the ACC season is looking to be very difficult. If we can have a .500 record in conference play after that stretch is over I'd be very, VERY impressed.

That would be a job well done with this group of players I think.

It'd be a very good time for a football player to take up basketball after the bowl. BR and JK proved before that athletic ability, hustle, and smarts can make enough contributions to help the team succeed. January gets rough on a short bench. One more superior athlete can't hurt. If nothing else, it would make for some interesting loose balls.
