Last I heard NC State was supposedly on his short list.

That's the rumor, which is why I would have thought they would have limited his prospects to non-ACC teams.

Still, Montrezl going there would be a surprise, given Kentucky's interest.

I thought the NCAA just passed something that said recruits can't transfer inside the conference so maybe that's why they didn't both to say he can't go to NC State. This might take effect next year though. I don't remember all the details.

I think ACC rules used to put a 2 year waiting period on intra-conference transfers, but i'm not sure if that is still in effect, or the possible loop holes around it.

Regardless of rumors, Calipari has earned the same right as Saban has when it comes to recruiting - I'll always give them the benefit of the doubt on a recruit before any other school.

Really hoping it's not NC State - as if they needed another player in this stacked recruiting class of theirs.

I really do like the attitude of this coaching staff. They do seem to have a quality about them that is going to benefit the program.
