I think he cooled on Kentucky because they were looking at other big men. Those two guys signed with other teams, so Kentucky may be on Harrell again. I'm not sure what the situation is, but I think that he's probably been given a conditional release already to transfer to any school that VT doesn't play. However, I bet he wants a full release to play for NC State, which VT won't give him and shouldn't give him.

He'll be good for practices, even if he has to sit out a year, and it shows that the new coaching staff are on the job.

I suppose I should stop following Montrezl at this point. It really is a shame, though.

I always figured that spelling your name correctly was enough to qualify at Kentucky. It's not like they're going to ask much more of you academically...

I'm not sure Montrezl qualifies under that standard (look at his name OR his tweets), but he's a very good basketball player.

I am excited about his ability to catch and shoot off the screen. Eddie is a pretty good shooter but struggles coming off of screens.
