He was a god when he was a junior. Then Todd Graham convinced him to try to play at 305 lbs instead of 280, and he got too fat. Still good, but he was the best defensive tackle I've ever seen at ASU when he was 280 as a junior. The statline is obscene for an inline guy. Something like 12.5 sacks and 25 TFL's. Didn't help that he got hurt as a senior forcing a fumble/TO against Oregon on the first play from scrimmage.
Graham switched it to a 3-4 defense I think? Wanted Sutton to be a nose tackle when he didn't fit there I'm guessing
