They are always bragging about how they don't stoop to the SEC level of scheduling FCS, first off. Mean while, the rest of the PAC does.
And if you don't think they're the most arrogant fan base in the country, you don't know any alumni.
Last I checked UCLA is among the last 2 teams that has never played FCS along with ND. Not chest pumping just a correction fwiw.

Mmm k, punkin. You just live in denial. I really don't care as I stand by my opinion. No body said you had to like it.

lol

Dude, you are acting like a child all because of my experiences with USC jack-wagons. Do you really think I'm going to go do a bunch of internet searches to validate my opinion? All because my comment hurt your little feelers? Ummm, no. Sorry son, my face palming is really aimed at every post of your saying "lol" and childish comments like that.
No need for a translation, I admit my opinion is very well backed up having lived in LA and SD for many years and lived among the SC entitled crowds. Now, calm down and get over it, son.

To be fair, all fan bases have their share of fanatic & delusional fans. You probably live in a section of the country where you run into more of the USC fandelusos than others. But it doesn't mean they are all that way.

A very fair observation and not one I hadn't thought of. But, in my experience, the majority of SC fans are down-right repugnant.

Case in point, this guy that got his panties in a wod over my opinion.

Yeah, you're right, how could I doubt Eastern Washington, BYU and Hawaii, along with a Charmin' soft Pac-12 schedule...

That is so much better than Georgia State, BYU, UAB and Chattanooga....and an SEC slate that includes Alabama, Florida and Georgia...teams that all finished ahead of Washington last year, hell, fucking Kentucky finished ahead of Washington last year. Meanwhile Washington plays one team that finished in the AP top 25...you go girl, fierce.

You know how Pac-12 teams avoid playing good teams...by playing 9 Pac-12 teams....We could play 5 conference games and still have a better chance of playing a quality opponent.
blah blah blah ... get back to me when southerners grow a set and start playing their own conference members.

Lol. Nice try at deflection. You made a blanket opinion that you tried to pass off as an indisputable fact. I asked you to back up your statement and all you provided was 1 person who sits 30 feet from you. I haven't even said if I agree or not. I just asked you to back up what you said. And now you're trying to save face because you can't.

:blah::blah::blah: Get back to me when the 12 Pac is ranked ahead of the SEC.

And are you still complaining about SEC teams playing FCS teams when your Huskies do the same thing?:heh: How funny would it be if the Buffs upset your Huskies on 11/23? Pretty sure I have a better shot of being the next mayor of Boulder than that happening.

Funny thing I’ve been watching SEC media days. And Saban’s stance completely contradicts all the excuses some fans cling to in order to avoid a 9 game conference schedule. Citing everything from raising the level of competitive games. And match ups within conference we don’t see now. Down to watered down 6-6 bowl teams due to the current 8 conference game schedule.....

Then again RollTide also confirmed Clay Aiken is equal to Kirby Smart based on ranked opponent records

So, Clay Aiken coaches football now? Or has Kirby Smart started singing country music?

It’s really quite simple I’m not going to continue breaking it down for you. If you’re going to run a formula run it correctly or it’s a false stat by nature....Nor does it make sense to fixate on Udubs in a thread about SC scheduling their first FCS opponent.

Should probably start an SEC media day thread tho. Saban was on point from raising the competitive bar on a 9 game schedule. While discussing the need for more competition in conference. Down to watered down scheduling under an 8 game conf schedule. And meaninglesss games and “6-6” bowl teams backing in bowl games. Gotta give Saban props.

On topic SC scheduling FCS is nothing more than an example. Of said watered down schedules becoming more common under the current watered down format and play off selection system/format.May not like it but good on SC for making a statement by doing so.Tbh ND and UCLA should follow suit

I'm guessing swimming is a problem for you....due to your density.

SC should probably avoid things that might put them in the playoffs. If they don't make the playoffs because of their schedule they will still be free to say stupid shit like, "This isn't the same team Alabama beat...if we played them now..." and other such nonsense. If they make the playoffs, they will just get exposed like the other frauds.

Why is playing your own conference members a good thing when your conference is shitty? If anything we should play each other less so we could dilute our schedule down to a Pac-12 level by adding two FCS games.

I haven't watched any media days yet. But I'm gonna DVR's tomorrow's BigTen media day. See What new HC Ryan Day has to say about the upcoming season.

Not what Coach Saban said at media day today. In fact he said quite the reverse. More conference games equals bigger conference match ups and a higher competition level. Ie Bama/UGA etc....Less conference games dilutes everything from actual team quality down to 6-6 back in bowl games. Did you watch SEC SEC media day today? Saban’s right gotta respect his stance on the topic.

By going to a 9 game schedule there will be SEC teams exposed. Saban was spot on. As far as SC/Alabama. I’ve found a lot of respect for USC in Bama. That respect is mutual
