lol, B1G didn't make the playoffs Penn St? Wasn't that the same USC team that lost to Alabama 52-6

Remind me again what any of those other non-SEC champs have to do with the PAC or the ACC? Next you'll be bragging because USC beat Arkansas...
You may want to do some fact checking. B1G has Ohio State in the play offs in 2016. Which goes to show how little conference means now.....SC was also your highest EOY ranked opponent outside Clemson finishing 3rd in the country. SC really surged after dropping Max Browne for Darnold.....

Wouldn’t lean so heavy on your SOS rankings either tho. 8 game schedule waters everything down. Until conferences use a uniform format. Using your guidelines is cute . But without an equal foundation to work off of there is no math.....
#USCorrected

Seems you’re more concerned with Udubs than the actual topic tho #USCupcakes

USC used to be the best team in their conference - and may be again some day - but right now they are not even the best team in the Pac-South. And the best team from the South would probably finish no better than third if they played in the North.
It’s only been a year since USC was the first team in the South to win the PAC 12 championship

#USCorrected You’re welcome :suds:

You might want to check your reading comprehension...I was slamming Penn St for being the B1G champ...yet not being in the CFP...hence the reason I made fun of Clemson destroying the real "best" team in the B1G.

SC really surged after beating a bunch of teams that were as overrated as you were. Wasn't Darnold the QB when you lost to mediocre Utah. Ohio St, Penn St, Michigan and the rest of the B1G were clearly overrated that year, so beating any of the 3, is no more impressive than beating either of the 2 best Pac-12 teams...or both....

Yeah Darnold fell short in his first road game after he put USC ahead the defense gave up a last second TD. The horror.

How you know SOS formula is hogwash.....
Play three trucking schools and everyone in your conference not play each other so you all have an extra win (make sure its a Citadel or Mercer type) and still brag about your SOS.lol
Them truck drivers are tough! :suds:

This is Tennessee's weakest OOC schedule in a while and we probably need one since we have fallen from grace. We typically play people like Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA, Cal, West Virginia, Va Tech, Georgia Tech, etc.
Can't be. We aren't on it.

Oh my reading comprehension is just fine. You may want to work on yours tho.You clearly stated The B1G didn't make the play offs". If you were slamming Penn State one would say Penn State didnt make the play offs. The B1G did in fact make the play offs.

Anyone who watches #USCollegefootball knows the Utah game would be the game Darnold came in in relief. And almost led the Trojans back starting the surge. Taking the reins as USC's QB.....

I don't have time to keep #USCorrecting you. Feel free to obsess Udubs or the PAC.....I'm more interested in SC scheduling future USCupcakes. And the impact it has on the #USCollegefootball landscape. Hopefully their statement ups the competition level. And UCLA and ND follow suit and expose the current flawed watered down college football system further.

Actually, it's been a year and a half now; and they followed up that title season with a 4-5 conference record and 5-7 overall mark.

Now UStand Corrected.

I know its hard being a Crimson Tigers band wagon tee shirt fan. But you may want to try keeping up.

2016 USC beat B1G Champion Penn State and finished 3rd in the nation
2017 USC was the first team from the South to win the PAC

Yes last year SC was bad. But if they replaced a conference game with an extra cupcake. They would be a watered down 8 game schedule 6-6 bowl team. Roll Tigers!!!!:dhd:

Maybe. Or they could have still finished 5-7 & missed the bowls.

It's describing Penn State...It was Penn St that didn't make the playoffs, yet your were pimping them out, dense motherfucker.

Came in in relief, LOL, apparently we have different opinions about what relief means. Darnold made all 50 pass attempts in the game...none of which occurred in the final drive, that was just Darnold losing yardage on 3 straight plays without getting a pass off...despite started at midfield...impressive.

ALL USC playing more cupcakes is going to do is insure that when you do make the playoffs, you are woefully unprepared for that punch in the mouth.

Or they could have pulled a Florida State and called a 6-6 season a winning season. By replacing a conference game with an extra OOG game like say Samford.....

Still shifting the goal posts. Can’t say I care about Penn State. Had you said Penn State didn’t make the play offs. Rather than the B1G didn’t make the play offs. I would t have had to #USCorrect you....

Don’t get me wrong I can see where you may get confused. When fixating on Udubs and the PAC. In a thread about USC scheduling there first FCS team in school history. It’s a good sign to see SC get hate or massive replies tho. You should know that well Bama gets the same. It’s a sign of respect for the schools prominence and tradition. Other schools garner the amount of attention blue bloods receive.

Except they didn't replace a conference game. They replaced a non-conference game that had been cancelled due to a hurricane. And, yes, they replaced it with a pitiful team that would have had a hard time competing against a good juco team.

We can agree on one thing, Rolltide94 tends to deflect too much.

I’ve taken FSU’s winning season streak as a farce. I can say 6-6 is not a losing season. I can’t say 6-6 is a winning season.

I’ll be the first to tell you SC was bad last year. Helton is not cut out to be a HC. He had some players with leadership skills carry him first 2 years .But as far as CH more loyal to assistant coaches and some players than team. No discipline, light practices , SC never prepared

I am confident if SC replaced a conference game with an FCS school. As bad as they were last year they go 6-6.

As far as SC adding FCS. With the way Swann runs SC football. I believe this is one of his projects.

I totally agree about 6-6 not being a winning season. It's a break-even season as far as wins go, but it did help them get into an undeserved bowl game.
