Quinn has a history, not a completely terrible one but he has a mixed bag of HCing.

I think peters might be conflicted on MacDonald and not sure what he wants.

I have read several reports that peters was surprised by Johnson's withdrawal.
Appears they zeroed in on him. That is fine, but we can't get beat twice and have MacDonald slip through because we were not prepared.

I said this several times, i feel bad for peters because he is being asked to do so much so quickly.

Again, to me, Quinn would represent a strike out on at least 2 candidates in my opinion.

Quite frankly, I am shocked word hasn't been linked of an offer to MacDonald unless, Quinn is the main target.

Seems that peters might be stunned from yesterday possibly??

He was the only candidate we were flying to meet. Glenn was a throw in interview.

Beat writers are not in the interview room. And I can tell you that no one from the front office is talking to them at this point. They get bits and pieces of info on the margins and report it as "fact" verified or not. that is today's "news" reporting. Being first s more important than being accurate.

If Quinn gets a three year deal, I'm cool with it. Buys us time to rebuild the roster and by the time we are ready to compete for something serious, go get your guy.

If they liked Johnson, he kneecapped Harris and Peters. That is not a guy I would want as HC.
