Getzlaf is considered the franchise player for the Ducks. They'd rather see Perry go than Getzlaf anyday.

That being said. It warms my heart to read how so many fans of other teams HATE Corey Perry. That means he MUST be doing something right.

Agreed with your first paragraph 100%. No ifs, ands or buts. Getzlaf is a stud.

Not particularly. I don't hate him because he does well against the Sharks. I hate him because he has ZERO regard for his fellow players. He elbows guys in the head, tries to break goalies knees, stick people in the face when they are lying helpless on the ground, etc. I actually like and respect Getzlaf and he's owned the Sharks just as much if not more than Perry. Also, one of my favorite players of all time was absolutely brutal against the Sharks.....especially in the playoffs.....Quote-less/Burnaby Joe. The guy is just a POS hands down. And yes, I'd still hate him even if he got traded to the Sharks next season for Huskins and Mitchell.

I don't hate him because he does anything right. Actually, the instances that leave the worst taste in my mouth, are one where he took the dumb penalty. Or Datsyuk made him look foolish.
