The Yankees also checked in on Pence, writes Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, but as with the Reds, there doesn't appear to be a match. Heyman says the Pirates and Rangers are also among the interested teams.

Baseball in florida is a hopeless cause.....the Rays recent success has proven that (insert ballpark location complaint), and the Marlins 2 WS victories not being noticed by anyone down there cements it.

Move one to OKC, and the other to Portland Or...

Yep, the World Series attendance for both 1997 and 2003 proved that it was "not being noticed by anyone down there...".

1997 WS attendance in Miami - Game 1: 67,245; Game 2: 67,025; Game 6: 67,498; Game 7: 67,204
1997 WS attendance in Cleveland - Game 3:
44,880; Game 4: 44,887; Game 5: 44,888

2003
WS attendance in Miami - Game 3: 65,731; Game 4: 65,934; Game 5: 65,975

2003

I'm not a math genius so somebody please explain how this attendance proves that
Down38st8 is right. Or maybe he should stop listening to what E!SPN tells him.

I heard Drew, Gomes, Brock Holt and Steven Wright for Stanton

LOL!

LOL!

LOL!

Try again. And be serious this time. I'd love to see the source on this. I don't think that even E!SPN is that homeristic to make this suggestion.

seriously?

LOL! You don't get my schtick against certain teams and networks do you?

Of course the Red Sox are willing to give crap for Stanton and of course 29 MLB teams would be willing to give a lot for Stanton. To me it's really not news especially when the rumored potential offer is that list of garbage.

The Red Sox "may be willing to part with whatever it takes" in hopes of acquiring the Marlins' Giancarlo Stanton, a league source tells MLB.com's Joe Frisaro. Still, the Marlins have pretty much closed the door on trading Stanton for now.

Hmmmmmm.....

THAT is a trade where you would include prospects of the caliber of Bogaerts....

23 years old, under team control for 3 more years...and an elite power hitting OF'er...

Let's just hope he's over the psychological trauma associated with dealing with an abusive yankee as a hitting coach...

Hey - that's Red Sox garbage. Worth way more than Braves garbage. Probably worth less than Yankee garbage (cuz of the honor and tradition of the pinstripes factor).

I like this guy.

Thanks. A lot of us from the other websites need to support each other. Apparently the Admin of this website doesn't care much for me. He thinks that I write "bullshit" and that I "contribute nothing here."
