Anyone see Denorfia's walkoff off of the Cuban Missile? In the game thread I kept saying all we need is a bloop 'n a blast but we got a leadoff walk and a blast.

I got drunk last night.

Even if Bogaerts doesn't stick at SS, his bat would play well anywhere.

I have no issues with a future left side being him at 3rd and Iglesias at short, or him at short and WMB at 3rd...

Those writing of Middlebrooks for life are guilty of a little shortsightedness...

28-year-old righty Bud Norris was to take on one of his potential suitors tonight in the Orioles, but he's been scratched from the start, according to [ame=""]MLB.com's Brian McTaggart[/ame]. Lucas Harrell will start in his place. Norris has not been traded, adds McTaggart. It seems fair to speculate that the Astros are taking a similar approach toward Norris as the White Sox did in scratching Jake Peavy tonight: if there's a chance of a deal by tomorrow afternoon's trade deadline, it's best to not risk injury and to have the pitcher fresh for a potential new team.

Be careful. You might be warned about not posting a "bullshit" comment and it being pointed out that you "contribute nothing here".

I wouldn't mind Bud Norris if he was cheap. Maybe just Brock Holt for him.

The conductor of that train that crashed in Spain? Well...at least hammerdown isn't the dumbest motherfucker on the planet anymore...

he was on the phone, approaching a 50 MPH curve at 119mph...which is about the only thing I can think of dumber than "James worthy > Bill Russel"

Last time the Padres were relevant was when they had brown jerseys, Allan Wiggins was their 2B, and all of their 1984 roster was still alive.

It's an indictment of this year's trade deadline that Bud Norris and Jake Peavy are the two starters being speculated about.

Ahhh...so I guess you're one of these dimwit's buddies. So it's safe to say that I was right in that you give preferential treatment on these boards.
