always an interesting look. Pens and Wings top the NHL. interesting that the reason they're up that high is because of fan relationship and ownership. that and championships. what matters. i'm happy to see so few NBA teams at the tip top. though the cavs shouldn't be that high, IMO.

EDIT: forgot link...a-duhhhh

The Pittsburgh Pirates were rated 9th in stadium experience.

Now, forgive me, but I don't think you should be ranked top ten in stadium experience if it's lacking one of the major amenities. Specifically, a team worth watching.

I guess maybe people go to watch the other team?

No...it'a just the park...it is beautiful and the view of the city is awesome...a winning...hell...a competetive team would be the icing on the cake...

Exactly. These polls or whatever you want to call them can be all over the place depending on what criteria one wants to use.

Not knocking the standings but a change in a category here or there changes the standings significantly. It's like city rankings or ratings. JMO

Was that what you were driving at puckhead?

Wonder how the Pens will be ranked when that 69th ranked Stadium Experience improves next year...

yeah, it just seems like many of the categories are entirely subjective, and others aren't really important.

POLLS, STANDINGS, POWER RANKINGS, AND OVERALL LISTS.......

What are things that are always different depending on who came up with them, and always cause people to lose thier fucking minds over it.

They only count when my team is on top. :)

Is there an objective way to do this list? Granted, I'm not an ESPN Insider so I can't see how they came up with the rankings, but I'd imagine that a lot of it is pretty subjective. That's the point.

The people that came up with the list are experts in their fields. That's who you turn to for rankings like this. If you don't agree with them, great. Various opinions are what make the sporting world interesting. But I don't see the problem with a magazine doing a subjective ranking. That's one of the major reasons why some people actually still purchase magazines -- to get expert opinions on issues.

Damn you Darkstone. That's what I call a major kick in the balls. :)

But I'm used to that, welcome back bro.

Why thank you, Boss. My laptop got repaired just in time for free agency. What excellent timing.
