2nd year TEs make pretty big jumps according to most studies. Believe me the more we see of Ebron and the less of Ross, the better off we will be.

That study actually says 1st round picks don't improve that much in year 2. Although many here can make the argument that Ebron was a big stretch as a first round pick so maybe the big improvement is coming. I hope the latter is right.

Of course, like I mentioned earlier, just having Ross on the bench should be a plus.

Yeah, Hopefully he is better than Ross. But Fauria should be coming back this season as well. I don't expect any big numbers as long as CJ and Fauria is healthy.

If our Top 10 draft pick TE (in his 2nd year) can't take the overwhelming majority of targets away from our UDFA TE (in his 3rd year) -- Detroit has issues.

Since Ebron was the 2nd best Offensive player in a draft that shattered the record books for WR production -- I'm thinking Ebron will hopefully relegate Fauria to nothing more than a red zone target on certain packages.

Fauria has been used between the 20's. Not that Ebron did much to impress me either. Fauria needs to be a vertical weapon first to be better. That ain't happening, so....
