Diaz is without question the better boxer of the 2. Diaz did exactly what he planned in the first fight. No he didn't plan on taking big shots to his head but he did plan to rope-a-dope McGregor. Diaz is also sitting comfortably in Connors head right now so I imagine things start just like the last fight. Diaz might try to establish his jab early to keep Connor's left in check. I am thinking Diaz may clown pretty early to bait Connor if Connor plays things safe. Wouldn't be too surprised to see Connor open the fight with a charge to try to 1 punch Diaz. McGregor cant stand that he lost to Diaz and I don't think just winning the fight would be enough for him. He may want to dominate to prove the first fight was a fluke. One hell of a gamble tho.

I think Diaz stays patient and ends it with a sub in the 3rd. No way this thing goes to the judges.

Welp. That was worth it. McGregor wins a decision in a fight where both men got their ass kicked. I was very impressed by McGregor's takedown defense considering he's fighting up so much.

Yeah, he said he came up on their terms, and now that he's won, the balls in his court. He wants fight 3, but at 155.

I was impressed that he was able to swallow his pride and fight a more tactful fight. He was walking away from Diaz the last 3 rounds, but it was smart, as he was totally gassed again at the end of the 3rd. The leg kicks and better pacing allowed him to edge it out. I had it 48-47 Connor as well, good fight

It's hard not to respect a guy after taking every thing you both have for 5 rounds. I hear them talking about the 3rd fight, but the fight I would LOVE to see...Connor vs Cowboy Cerrone at 155...that would be a freaking fight

Cowboy will fight anyone at any time but it'll have to wait. Unless Dana changes his mind from 2 days ago, he says Conor is defending his 145 belt next (as he should). They better not fucking do a 3rd Diaz/McGregor match right away. Defend the damn featherweight title! (Although knowing Diaz, he'd likely lose his other fights while he's waiting and diminish things a bit so I see their point if they do a third fight quickly)

Dana said he was fighting Aldo, and he should, unless he vacates the Title. He can't be the champ if he doesn't defend. The reason Connor and Diaz want the 3rd is obvious, they made $5 million combined tonight lol

I HATE Mcgregor, but what idiot judged that a draw? Clearly he took it 3-2 at worst. Should have been 49-46 or 48-47 sweep.
