Two officers went to the scene, and Tolbert allegedly ran. He was tackled shortly after and handcuffed.
This just tells me there's a lot more of this going on than we know.
One of our best young LB's just got popped with a felony for stealing bikes. How the fuck do you see that happen with your teammate and decide to do the same thing?
Also, why in gods name does LPD have the time to be placing "bait bikes" with cameras on them? And can you imagine the odds of a football player actually being the one to steal the bike?
I'd say boot 'em off of the team, but that sets a weird precedent considering Josh Banderas stole 7 bikes in broad daylight, caught a case, and he is still on the team.
One kid is from Florida and the other is from Louisiana. You wouldn't catch a kid from, oh say, Lincoln Southwest, doing something stupid like this.

Smoke all the pot you want. I do not care. It's harmless, but don't advertise it. I could go down to the fields right now and light up. Probably be reported in about 5 minutes. Do you know how many eyes are on you when you're in the middle of campus on the soccer fields? Idiots. Idiots everywhere.
Like I said before......we were always much better back when our players were in trouble with the law.
