Really want Ford and Young to get the call to Tacoma. Not sure who, but one of the middle infielders in Modesto needs to get called up to Everett so Celesten can get promoted IMO.

I guess he is on the Rainiers now and has made a couple relief appearnces but I don't know how recent those have been. But, rather than convert one of our excellent young starters, doesn't it seem like a more prudent move would be to trade Hancock or Miller for a BP arm and maybe a useful position player? Oh wait, I know why. Such a trade might actually increase our payroll.

I wrote this one another thread but don’t get why they haven’t put Hancock in the bullpen. In every showcase game he has had where he is going only 1 inning he hits 96-99 and is dominant. It doesn’t seem like Hancock has a path to be a starter besides the emergency guy, while Evans should develop to be a part of the young core

I don't think the Mariners have any intention of bringing up Ford or Young to the Majors. I was under the impression a promotion from AA to AAA is so that if an MLB player is injured its easier to bring someone from Tacoma to Seattle on short notice as opposed to Arkansas.

I do agree about Celesten getting promoted especially him being 18 and there is no point in keeping him at the lowest level to dominate. Now who would they promote to create space is a good question because its not like any of the infield prospects are exactly lighting the world on fire.

I don’t agree with the call up to Tacoma means a call up is imminent. Travel makes it easier to get called up for sure.

Michael Arroyo is probably due for a promotion to Everett.
