Most of us have seen the season and playoff predictions spewing from all the national NHL "experts" within the last couple weeks and they're pretty much all chalk... Bruins out of the East, Kings or Blackhawks out of the West. Hart and Art Ross go to Crosby...blah, blah, blah. Can't hate on 'em too much for making safe picks; most of us would do the same if the predictions were going to be published nationally.
What can't be easily predicted are things like injuries, breakout performances, surprisingly bad performances, poor team chemistry, bad coaching and how the effects of those things alter the landscape of individual teams and the league in an isolated season.
I want to see some truly bold predictions for this season from my fellow hockey pals here that will alter the landscape of the NHL in ways the national "experts" either aren't accounting for or are too timid to declare publicly.
Ready... Go!
