This is the first game of the season where Trubisky looked great. He really looked like a QB that knew what he was doing and was completely in control of the offense. It was enough of a leap that gave me hope we may have found the right guy. As everyone knows my opinion of him before this game, despite what the stats say, he's looked terrible.

The Allen Robinson TD throw in the first half was especially impressive, not because the throw was perfect (it wasn't) but because Trubisky looked off the safety and then switched to Robinson before throwing. Throughout this entire game he threw with confidence hitting his receivers in stride and throwing lines.

I think this is the game where Trubisky finally arrived.

I know the analyst covering the game kind of said the same thing (the bolded part), but I thought it was not only a great throw, I think Trubisky tossed it right where he wanted Robinson to haul it in. The defender was covering AR a bit high and definitely on his inside. By throwing it a little short and a touch to the other side, this made sure that either he would catch it or no one would. I loved that throw, might have been my favorite of the day.

The announcers where I'm watching the game was Daryl Johnston. He never said a word about Trubisky looking off the receivers.

While I admire your optimism, imo, there is no way Trubisky underthrew AR on purpose.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I honestly thought if Trubisky threw that ball far enough so that it would have been over the shoulder, so to speak, that the pass would have been contested and likely an incompletion. What would be nice is if there is any follow up from either Trubisky or Robinson speaking on that specific throw, which I'm guessing is highly unlikely. In any event, it resulted in a TD and we notched another W on this crazy season.

I just realized you said the same thing about Trubisky in your game review post. Good going. We saw the same game.

Matt Nagy concurs in post game press conference. Mitch's best game. Nagy gave me a call before the press conference and I gave him the nod.

Get a room, fruitbag.

Why are you so angry? I know this whole thing with Howard is killing you but you got to let it go. It's not your fault that I'm constantly right. It's inconceivable I know. I mean, after the first 2 years Howard had statistically, how could I possibly hate on him so much and in the end, be right? I know it's tough to take, but sometimes you gotta man up and give some props and move forward. My football and real life IQ is just really high compared to everyone else. Sorry.

Big game this week against the Vikings. Will Trubisky look as confident as he did against this time a defense that can apply pressure? This is the real test. Lets see how this turns out.

FK I don't want BS on the Trubs train. He gets everything wrong. For the first time I am doubting Trubs now.

In first post, guy tells me Trubisky has arrived.

Now "Let's see how this turns out."

What a tease.
