Bonds was the Derek Jeter of OF. Johnny Damon is a great comparison defensively to Bonds.

I'd definitely put him in the same category and just as feared. He is 10 times better defensively but a step behind in the power numbers. It is too early to say Trout is in the category for GOAT but Bonds had a name so got gloves.

Because there's more to baseball than hitting (and Trout's wRC+ is only 6 points higher)? Mookie led all outfielders in UZR (Trout was 16th in UZR/150) and finished tied for 2nd in DRS (+20, Trout had +8). Mookie finished with 10.4 WAR while Trout finished at 9.8.
