I think he's gonna get a lot of what the NDP has now out there and by consolidating the lefty vote in some ridings will be able to grab about as many seats as he can in BC.

Scheer is spending a lot of time in Ontario right now and that's what should have him worried. He's pretty much exclusively running on killing the carbon tax here and that's something Trudeau's going to have a tough time countering outside downtown Toronto. With AB and the Prairies pretty much locked up if Scheer can turn Ontario as solid blue as Doug Ford did last summer he'll win a minority government at the very least.

If this was such a pressing issue that its necessary to shutdown the government, then why didn't Trump get his party to pass something when he controlled both houses of the legislature?

Polls showing Trump getting increased blame for the shutdown with about 50% blaming him and about 32% blaming Democrats. Only going to get worse. Farmers not getting checks, VA having limited services, parks getting trashed, businesses that can't get permits to move forward on projects, food not being inspected, etc. etc. etc.

Stupid on Trump's part since he had every opportunity to get this done in his first two years, but too busy playing golf and tweeting from the shitter. Not enough work being done b/c he's old, lazy, and doesn't like to read, and he has a staff that is in disarray that can't even succeed on 2 or 3 of their core issues.
