You know what’s more palatable with eggs and butter?

Nothing... or bacon. Lots of bacon

What were we talking about again?

Going through some old stuff I found a copy of a movie that got me through a lot of hard times - Beavers And Buttsex. Sadly it's in vhs and I no longer have s VCR.
many many years ago my house got broken into and they stole my VCR (which tells you how long ago it was)
I was most upset that my copy of Return to Camp Beaver Lake was in the machine at the time.
starring Ron Jeremy and more importantly, Danielle Rogers

My grandfather worked there for more than 30 years. His pension plan was unbelievable. They took good care of their workers.

He's long dead but he's likely rolling around in his grave. Loyal to a fault. Always bought GM cars and sometimes they weren't the finest automobiles around.
The old joke around those parts is that GM is a benefits company that also happens to make cars.

It sucks because the company has such a history in Oshawa and there will obviously be some hurt by those losing their jobs but the writing's been on the wall for a decade - there were only 2000 people still employed there from a height of 40,000.

They are shutting down the engine and transmission factory about 2 miles from my house. They just expanded it a few years ago too.

That big giant place south of Target in White Marsh? There were a ton of jobs going in there 15 years ago.

Wow. That sucks.

It's a bit north of target, the exit from 43 to Philadelphia rd pretty much took you to their parking lot. It's a big place, I'm sure it will sit empty for years.
