Southern Rock but with a lot of lyrical nuance. Check out just about any tune but you can't go wrong with Zip City or Gravity's Gone.

I'll check it out. I'm a big southern rock fan. I loved Lynyrd Skynrd, Molly Hatchett, Marshall Tucker Band, the Allmans and many others.
I did hear one newer group, at least new for me, called Blackberry Smoke and they seemed to be upholding the southern rock tradition.
