No shock here. But huge to at least make us able to field a slightly competitive team.

Here is a question, will academic eligibility still apply? How about the basketball freshman who did not bother to attend class in the second semester because they thought they were going to go pro. But then pulled their name out of the draft when they found out they would not be drafted.

Except for grad students, some schools don't allow transfers after the sophomore year. Notre Dame is one. I think that is the real underlying reason Kelly left (and the money also).

Just a thought but does anyone think top ranked QBs will share their money with the line men who will not be getting much since their face is not seen and their names are not called much during the game. Can anyone other than strident fans of Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Cincinatti, Notre Dame, and the rest of college football name any of the interior line men of their favorite teams.
And would it be legal under the current system for him to pay them

Nailed it...

I can't really blame the kid, seeing transfers in getting paid so much.

Jay Bilas pushed for this endlessly without ever mentioning as single downside. I wonder what he'll push for next.

Maimi situation just keeps getting muddier

NIL rules state " Your NIL agreement cannot incentivize you to attend a certain school". This is blatantly being violated. If NCAA does nothing because they really can't do anything then they really are nothing.

Since school is not involved they can't be held accountable. That leaves agents and players. Players should be considered not eligible to play if they violate the rules, and agents should lose accreditation if they violate the rules.

In this case. Wong's at a minimum the agent should lose his accreditation ( in my opinion. )

Hunter Dickinson is in the portal. That’s big
guy's a 7-ft classless turd playing for J. Herp Howard - whose resume makes Dickinson look positively angelic.
scUM needs to flush that whole toxic program and start from scratch.

Massoud, from K-State, is entering the portal.

After burning MSU in the Tourney, I wouldn't be surprised to see them pursue him.
