Can I add Nelson Cruz to that list?
No.
Can I add Nelson Cruz to that list?
1. Bullpen
2. Too many strikeouts on AB's
3. LF and CF need to be fired
4. Leonys Martin leaving was a huge mistake

My two biggest concerns going into this season were (1) Would DeShields regress this season? Which I expected he probably would. (2) Was Tolleson a 3/4 year wonder?
It's early, but those concerns I had then are a little larger now.
DeShields regressed over the last 2 months of 2015. He was hitting .277 at the end of July and only hit .245 for the final 2 months of the season. In that same 2 months his OBP was about 50 points lower than it was during the first 4 months and his OPS was about 100 points lower. My two biggest concerns going into this season were (1) Would DeShields regress this season? And so should have 2011 MY and the 2011 pitching staff's ability to stay healthy and 2010 Feliz and a litany of other things, but that's not realistic.Martin is batting .400 and has a better arm that DD. Never should have let him get away. In hindsight, Cruz and Kinsler should have stayed as well.

It's been 4 games. Martin won't be batting anywhere near .400 at the all star breaking. Pretty early to be throwing batting average out there as a measurable stat to make your point. If he's hitting upwards of .280'at the end of the year, you'll have a point, but I guarantee you he won't be.

Keep in mind he only played 121 games last year. And of those I am not sure how many started or came in late to pinch run for Prince.Delino DeShields had a very good 51 game stretch last year between May 8th and July 30th. Is that the real DeShields or was that a fluke? We will find out, but I am glad we have a long term answer for CF who should be ready by this time next year if not before. Other than that 51 game stretch last year he hit only .235/.313/.336 in 2015.

lol, you wanted to cut Andrus last night. Is that not "pretty early" ?
Yes, that has to be factored in. It is just troubling to me that he regressed as the season went on and it certainly wasn't because he was tired since he only played in 121 games. He is probably eventually going to fall in between those 2 extremes, but which one will he be closer to is the question.Keep in mind he only played 121 games last year.
