Alright guys, let's get this season on the right track. I got a good feeling about Dutch tonight.

• Rangers general manager Jon Daniels joined 105.3 The Fan yesterday and talked about Adrian Beltre’s contract status (h/t: the SportsDay DFW, which has transcribed a portion of the interview). Daniels said that retaining Beltre beyond 2016 is still high on his list of priorities. “I love the guy,” said Daniels of Beltre. “I could not appreciate him more on or off the field, and what he’s done for a lot of people – including myself, this franchise, our young players – I love the guy. So, we would still like to be able to find a way to keep him as a Ranger beyond this year. … Whether that gets done now or whether that gets done another time…I think he wants to be here, and we want him here.”

True.....But it sure would be nice to take 3 of 4 since they aren't playing very well either (0-2 now).

We should be 1-2 right now, but our one should have come yesterday. And since we received such a nice gift the first game, being 2-1 was there to be had. So it made yesterday's disappointment a little larger for me.

The Cubs did beat them pretty handily but that is a good baseball team. Especially when they have Arrieta on the mound. Padres fans must be really excited after being outscored 25-0 in their 1st 3 games.

No Ryan Rua in the lineup today against a lefty. It is really going to cut down on his at bats if he can't start 2 days in a row when we face 2 lefties in a row.

Like I said, I don't have much faith that Rua is going to get adequate at bats to make having him on the big league roster worth it.
