regarding the Washington post article. I think Jones is spot on in the Sherff assessment. It looks like he is going to be a better guard than tackle. But some of us already knew this going into the draft. So to sum up we drafted for need over BPA.

It was not an either/or type pick.....Washington NEEDED OL men, he was the BEST AVAILABLE when it was their turn to choose.

He was the best available at a need position. That is not the same as best available player.

Just thought I'd clarify but again I'm fine with the pick now. It was a much safer pick than Williams because we knew he could always slide to guard and be a great player. But the biggest factor for me was the development of Moses. Had he still been hurt or had not show so well and Tom Compton was our starting RT all season this pick would look a whole lot different.
