Sorry I should have made this more clear. I meant more next offseason making this kind of move. Say Jeudy goes out and gets over 1,000 yards and puts up 8-10 TD's. Teams showed this last draft they are willing to go crazy for WR's. So I could see a team seeing Jeudy do that and think his best days are ahead and better to get a proven option compared to take a chance in the draft. Broncos might be viewing it as we need draft capital and are paying Wilson $50 million a year and can't afford to give Jeudy top of the market pay for the position.
That makes more sense…

Be smart with this dude. Don’t need Chubb rehab 2.0.

I want 6 S's this year... Yes, I am a DB whore.

Johnson actually played really well on Sat. Dropped the pick but didn't look lost. Made some key tackles and was in good position. Wish we could find a way to keep him and Turner-Yell around. JR Reed actually looked good too. Hell, our until defense with the exception of Donnie Lewis looked good.

Ok, this may have been a bridge too far.

I was out in a boat on the Potomac tonight. There were adult beverages on board. I’ll stop posting now. :D

The picture is actually from the Anacostia River.

I have been to Anacostia. I was told to stay away though.

Good advice. The river runs up through that area. Where they built Nats Stadium ( in the shadow of the nation's capital) the previous neighborhood was also in decay and violent. It's amazing to see the renewal. Never underestimate the power of billions of $ in commercial real estate debt. :thumb:

Didn't figure a guy who was with the team for like 2 weeks deserved his own thread but Max Borghi has been cut. Understandable after his preseason game. He was really struggling to see the lanes. Turned what should have been an easy 5-7 yard run into a 2-yard run by trying to kick outside instead of following his blockers.

So the 5 cuts are Johnson, Borghi, Davis, Williams, and Fulgham. No huge surprises so far.

Problem with Max is that really he is more of a WR then he is a RB. Just not fast enough or big enough to play WR in the NFL.. Doesn't really have a role. Good college player not really an NFL player.

There are plenty of those. One of the best college players ever in Tim Tebow obviously was not a great fit for the NFL.

And I would agree on that assessment of Borghi. Hard to see him ever having a decent impact on an NFL team.

How about Charlie Ward, winning the Heisman and national championship and then never playing in the NFL. I love me some Charlie Ward though and he had a nice little NBA career.

Lets just have a cut thread and if the player actually played valuable time for Denver give him is own appreciation thread.

"Vic" Braden and "Jerimiah" Johnson unfortunately did nothing to appreciate.

He'd be a candidate for CTE given the style of offense they'd make him run in the NFL at that time too. Or did they want to convert him to WR? Either way, I think he made the best choice for his long-term health.
